Love this cute little place. There are a few tables for 2 indoor and outdoor. I look at the foods as if I'm at an art exhibit they are beautiful. They are as tasty as they are lovely. Soups change out daily. Today was red pepper and Gouda...delicious! The baguette that goes with the soup is perfectly made and such a good size Our spinach quiche couldn't be tastier. We took croissants home. Service was friendly, warm, and efficient. Be mindful of the travel patterns in and out of the corner spot.

This is, as far as I know, the second location for La Gourmandine. I was OVERJOYED that I did not have to travel to Lawrenceville any longer to re-experience Parisienne pastry and boulangerie combined. Whether or not there is a line, it is easy to see what you might like as everything is on display and I encourage you to TRY EVERYTHING. There is nothing here I do not like and I am a picky eater. This location has less space than the original and other incarnations of the establishment, however this food creates its own ambience. Whether you are searching for a pasty worthy of a cheat day, or a lovely sandwich on a chewy and wonderful baguette, or well created droolable quiche, this is the name of the place to go. I believe there are four locations now? In Pittsburgh, I have not experienced anything equal yet.

Always fresh and delicious. The quiche is particularly good. Whether we walk over or have it delivered, we've never had anything that wasn't top notch in quality or taste.

If you ever sat outside at a Paris cafe people-watching, you will love this place. Pros: everything I have tasted is just better than anywhere else around Pittsburgh, unless you compare it to La Gourmandine's downtown location haha. Their croissants are straight, meaning it is made with butter, and every type of bread I have tried tasted so good. And don't get me started on the pastries! Cons: I wish we lived closer and it was easier to get to... Summary: best bakery in Pittsburgh, without a doubt. Pro-tip: save yourself the pressure being overwhelmed by all the choices at the bakery by ordering online...
